The “Challenged” Edition
Welcome to October. The leaves have nearly completed their color transformation and the sun has started to quit work earlier and earlier. I wish I could do the same. I suppose if I was a mass of incandescent gas I could do whatever I wanted.
It has been rumored that Barack Obama is considering a management change. Hilary Clinton is rumored to be replacing Joe Biden as VP in the 2012 election. Joe Biden would become the new Secretary of State. Of course, everyone denies everything. Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Joe “The Gaffe Machine” Biden has said some pretty stupid things over the past few years. And that’s okay. He’s saying stupid stuff here, in America. We understand that’s he a bit challenged and forgive him for that. He’s like your slow, mentally challenged brother. You love him but you don’t let him out of the house. Out there, people don’t understand and won’t be as forgiving. Biden as Secretary of State would be like letting him out of the house. And our allies and enemies alike won’t be so forgiving if he says something stupid. Let’s keep him in America.
Anyway, speaking of Hilary Clinton, toxic red sludge raged through a town in Hungary. Four people died. The sludge has gotten into the Danube River which is a pretty big deal apparently since the Danube is one of the major rivers in Europe. Sucks for them!
The “Dear Leader”, King Jong Il, announced his heir this week. His name is Kim Jong-un (Not very creative with their names I guess) and he is in line to take over after daddy dearest bites the dust. Or the bullet of an American gun. Kim Jong-un is in his twenties and was just promoted to military general. It is predicted that Kim Jong Il will retire in a few years because of failing health.
Dear Lord, has this page gotten longer? Finally (I hope), Afghan President Hamid Karzai has announced that he is pursuing peace negotiations with the sand peop… I mean Taliba… I mean Opposing Force (http://goo.gl/fYNa). Let me get this straight. He is negotiating peace for our war? Hmm… Not sure what to say about that. I’m not sure it’ll work. The sand people are easily frightened but they’ll be back. And in greater numbers. Let Papa Barry deal with the war Hamid.
